After finalizing my photo shoots and completing a detailed annotation for each, I can now see what edits I have currently developed to see how I can improve them and create new edits with my latest photo shoot.
Why I will do this?
By looking at other edits and creating new ones, I can see how it links into the topic of collections and how my chosen photographers have designed theirs to improve my own to relate it to collections.
How will I do this?
To complete this I will use photo shop to create edits based on collections and the work of the photographers but I will try and keep it related to how I want my edits to represent collections as a whole.
My starting point has been looking at the theme of collections which has led to a range of idea such as combining a mix of colours using repetition, monochrome, and that objects come apart. I will begin by explaining how the photographers have influenced and inspired my work, including my thoughts and processes. I have taken photos of mechanical parts, chocolate bars and other small things and have produced a ranger of photographers that have informed my decisions about how to develop my work further. I aim to experiment with a range of materials and processes such as depth of fields, engineering pieces, white paper, and a variety of settings on my camera. I will further develop my work, making it innovative and personal, realising my potential with final outcomes that show my developed ideas in a interesting way.
